The boys from the gold coast have been riding hard since they raced in the world cup and have thrown together a wicked video of what they have been up to since then. These guys are really stepping it up and will be a force to be reckoned with in the future!
It was the morning before round #4 of the 2008 Cone Head Cup. The crew was tired and hungover, but still eager to go skate some hills before the comp started. We were lucky enough to find this beauty of a spot to get some riding in to warm up the legs before the race.
Goldendale, Washington, USA- Scoot Smith from Pendor Harbor, Canada seized control of the Downhill Skateboarding final when the others bumped and rode away from the competition. James “The American Dream” Kelly from Sonoma, California rode to a well deserved second place with Martin Siegrist of Basel, Switzerland earning the final podium spot.

Is the world ready for Yatsey? Too late to warn you all, because Yatsey is off to the IGSA Maryhill World Championships. This video shows they are in for, a bloke that represents all that is good about Australian skating.
The third race of the European World Cup Tour. This year’s race saw Canadian Mischo Erban take first place, followed by Jackson Shapiera from Australia, Patrick Rizzo from the USA in 3rd and Erik Lundburg from Sweeden in 4th.
Jungholz, Austria. This years world cup race saw Canadian Scott ‘Scoot’ Smith take the victory followed by fellow Canadian Kevin ‘k-rimes’ Reimer. 3rd was Alexander Ulrich from France and 4th was Swiss Stefan Rueffi.
The second race of the year for the IGSA World Cup, the French Peyragudes Deluxe Cup. Canadian Kevin Reimer 1st, followed by fellow Canadian Scoot Smith 2nd, Swiss rider Martin Siegrist in 3rd and South African Mike Zeitsman in 4th. Enjoy.
This year’s race saw Rayne Longboard’s Kevin ‘K-Rimes’ Rimer take out 192 racers in an epic battle for glory. Following closely behind him came Billy ‘Bones’ Meiners, Mischo Erban and Pender Harbor local Scott ‘Scoot’ Smith.
Big thanks to the Coast Longboarding crew for putting on such an amazing event and wicked parties. Next year’s race will definitely see the Hopkin Racing team again as well as more Aussies.
Some Highlights from the Downhill Skateboarding and Giant Slalom at Newton’s Playground, on the legendary Mt Panorama in Bathurst, Australia. This year’s race was taken by Sweeden’s Erik Lundburg, with Hawaiian Eathan Lau coming in second and Canadian Scott ‘Scoot’ Smith placing 3rd.
Australian Steve Daddow placed first in the Giant Slalom followed by Fellow aussies Jackson Shapiera in 2nd and Paul Carey in 3rd
