French Alps with a rad crew

Jackson Shapiera took some time in between the 2010 IGSA world cup races in Europe to tour around and skate some of the best hills in the world with some of the best skaters in the world. In 2009 team Orangatang took a trip through the French Alps to skate some long beautiful roads, and in 2010 they came back with more shredders to sample some of the most amazing terrain France has to offer.

Voss Ekstremsport Veko

EkstremSports Veko is the largest extreme sports festival in the world. Located in Voss, Norway, the festival draws the best athletes from all over the world to compete in categories such as sky diving, base jumping, mountain biking, BMX dirt jumping, Kayaking, Longboarding and many more.
Hopkin team rider Jackson Shapiera made the journey to this beautiful place to compete in the longboarding race, skate some of the most beautiful terrain the country has to offer and check out the growing longboarding scene that Norway is building.

Sheeps Creek for Speed Freaks

For the 6th year, the Sheeps Creek for Speed Freaks Outlaw was held just outside of Williams Lake, BC. The road is long, rough and fast, and only the man with the strongest legs can take the victory.

Beat The Bastard Cancer Freeride

Beat the Bastard was held in Townsville, QLD Australia. It was the first Free Ride event ever to be held in Australia, and was also the first Gravity event to be a charity. They were raising money to beat the bastard, prostate cancer.
The event also included the 2nd round of the Cone Head Cup, and was a gnarly SuperG course that was around 60km/h and through hectic bends.
It was truly an epic event. DVD coming soon…

Jackson Shapiera is a team Hopkin rider from the Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia. He has beenĀ competingĀ for 2 years and is ready to take out the number one position on the world cup. Along the way he has picked up sponsors such as Rayne Longboards, Orangatang Wheels and Kooky speed trucks and is showing the rest of the world that Australian longboarders are a dominating force to be reckoned with.

Maryhill 2008

Goldendale, Washington, USA- Scoot Smith from Pendor Harbor, Canada seized control of the Downhill Skateboarding final when the others bumped and rode away from the competition. James “The American Dream” Kelly from Sonoma, California rode to a well deserved second place with Martin Siegrist of Basel, Switzerland earning the final podium spot.
